Common Musculoskeletal Conditions

In this workshop, Dr. Joe Muscolino covers the most common musculoskeletal pathologic conditions that manual therapists and movement professionals will encounter with their clients/patients. For each condition, the causes, signs and symptoms, orthopedic and palpation assessment, and manual / movement therapy is discussed. Applications can be focused toward each field of manual or movement therapy, depending on the audience. Examples of conditions covered are: bulging/herniated disc, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, frozen shoulder, muscle spasm, upper and lower crossed syndrome… and many more.
