Essential Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Physiology

Dr. Joe Muscolino teaches Essential Kinesiology (musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology) for manual therapists and movement professionals. In this workshop, Dr. Joe begins with kinesiology terminology, and then addresses planes and axes, bones, joints, fascia, and muscle function, including how the nervous system organizes movement. Throughout the workshop, anatomy and physiology is applied to manual and movement therapy techniques. Depending on the audience, the applications can be tailored to massage therapy, palpation, orthopedic assessment, stretching, strengthening, Pilates, yoga, or fitness training.
