    The adductor longus (of the adductor group) is stretched with abduction and lateral rotation of the thigh at the hip joint.

     

    The adductor group is composed of the:

    • pectineus
    • adductor longus
    • gracilis
    • adductor brevis
    • adductor magnus

     

    Note: The adductor brevis will also be stretched with this position.

     

    The adductor longus is stretched with abduction and lateral rotation of the thigh at the hip joint.
