    The gracilis (of the adductor group) is stretched with abduction, extension, and lateral rotation of the thigh at the hip joint, with the knee joint fully extended.

     

    The adductor group is composed of the:

    • pectineus
    • adductor longus
    • gracilis
    • adductor brevis
    • adductor magnus

    Note: The gracilis is also known as the adductor gracilis.
