The pronator quadratus is seen. The pronator teres is ghosted in.

The Pronator Quadratus is in the Deep Layer of the Anterior Forearm Compartment.

ATTACHMENTS:

  • Distal anterior ulna to the distal anterior radius.
    • The attachments are onto the distal 1/4 of the ulna and radius.

ACTION:

NOTE: The pronator quadratus is much smaller than the pronator teres, but it has a strong leverage force because it is located farther from the axis of motion at the proximal radioulnar joint.
