    The right-side quadratus lumborum (QL) is stretched with left lateral flexion of the lumbar spine.

     

    Notes:

    • The right foot is placed behind the left foot for balance.
    • It is important to keep the left iliac crest (pelvis) down.
    • Adding in left rotation of the lumbar spine would increase the efficacy of the stretch.
