FREE DCOMT video – Stretching the Rectus Femoris Hip Flexor

In today’s video, let’s have a look at Stretching the Rectus Femoris Hip Flexor. Enjoy!

The rectus femoris is the only quadriceps muscle that crosses the hip. Because it crosses the hip joint anteriorly, it is a flexor of the thigh at the hip joint (and anterior tilter of the pelvis at the hip joint).

Stretching all hip flexors, including the rectus femoris, is extremely important for clients with lower crossed syndrome.
