    The clavicular head of the pectorals major is stretched with abduction and extension of the arm at the shoulder (glenohumeral) joint.

     

    Notes:

    • This stretch is usually performed by leaning in against the frame of a door.
    • The same-side foot is forward and the client leans in, transferring weight onto the forward foot.
    • The arm is abducted approximately 45 degrees.
