    • The humerus is the bone of the (upper) arm.
    • The humerus articulates with:

    NOTES:

    1. The greater tubercle is located laterally and the lesser tubercle is located medially.
    2. The bicipital groove of the humerus runs between the greater and lesser tubercles. The proximal tendon of the long head of the biceps brachii runs through this groove.
