The Temporoparietalis is a muscle of scalp. The muscles of the scalp are:
- Occipitofrontalis
- Temporoparietalis
- Auricularis Group
ATTACHMENTS:
- Fascia superior to the ear to the Galea aponeurotica.
ACTIONS:
- Elevates the ear.
- Pulls the scalp taut.
NOTES:
- The temporoparietalis and occipitofrontalis together are known as the epicranius.
- The auricularis superior also elevates the ear.
